TYPE OF STUDY:
Preliminary trial with 104 patients with variable profiles in terms of age, sex and severity of the disease, the minority diagnosed by test and the majority by screening according to the typical symptoms of the disease. For this reason, the data have been managed through a symptomatic scoring scale, with 10 being the maximum and 0 being the minimum perception of the symptom: fever, chills, muscle pain, dry cough, headache, back pain, shortness of breath , vomiting, diarrhea, sore throat, loss of smell, loss of taste, lack of appetite.
It was recommended to take protocol F or C, or both depending on the severity of the patient and medical judgment. The different protocols are described below:
In severe and symptomatic positive patients, attack doses or protocol F were taken for 2 or 3 days according to symptoms and improvement; subsequently, the maintenance dose or protocol C was switched for a further 7 days.
• Dilute 20ml of CDS in 500ml of water
• Take 65 ml every 15 min x 2 hours REST 2 HOURS
• Dilute 10ml of CDS in 500ml of water.
• Take 60ml every hour PROTOCOL F
• Dilute 10ml of CDS in 500ml of water PROTOCOL C
• Take 63 ml every hour 8 doses
• In patients who had contact with positive cases, they took maintenance doses or protocol C for 5 to 10 days.
• In children under 5 years of age, the dose was divided in half during 10 days of treatment.
• In general, it was recommended to continue taking maintenance doses for up to 20 more days, depending on the pathology.
• In addition, parenteral administration was considered in special cases. Dose: 30ml of CDS in 250ml of 0.9% saline solution at 14 drops per minute.
RESULTS:
The results were distributed according to symptoms after the first, second, third and fourth days of treatment. They have been segmented between men and women, and the results in common have also been exposed. In this summary, the symptoms table, and the first and last total graphs (men + women) are shown in relation to the symptomatological scale in order to easily infer the general conclusions.
